Yellowhead Helicopters covid ops status

Updated June 15, 2022

As the Gov’t of Canada, Province of BC and Transport Canada travel restrictions evolve, so must our Covid safety protocols in order to protect our personnel and our clients, to reduce the risk of transmission and infection.

Effective Monday, June 20, 2022

The Federal Government is lifting vaccine requirements for domestic travel through Canada.  Proof of vaccination will no longer be required before boarding from our bases.

The vaccine requirements is also being lifted for federally regulated transportation workers, which includes Yellowhead Helicopters employees.

However, face masks are still mandatory aboard flights.

We ask that our clients & guests continue to practice safe distancing and those that are unvaccinated we recommend wearing a mask inside any of our bases to reduce exposure.

Some of our commercial clients may still require vaccinations in order to enter their workplaces and/or work camps.  We will be in contact with these various clients to learn more of their requirements.

If you are feeling unwell or exhibit known COVID-19 symptoms, stay home and rebook your trip for a time when you are symptom-free.
