Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – (AME-M)

Position Summary

Yellowhead Helicopters is currently seeking applications for job openings as licensed Helicopter Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME-M), endorsed on BK 117, Bell 212 or Airbus AS350 series, for year-round full-time and/or seasonal positions. These positions would be operationally controlled out of our Prince George, B.C. facility and will require travel to various work locations across Canada including remote locations in Northern B.C.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with pilots to identify and resolve maintenance issues
  • Perform progressive and scheduled aircraft inspections
  • Ensure compliance with company maintenance policies and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of engineers and apprentices
  • Reporting to newly appointed Director of Maintenance Organization

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME-M license
  • Endorsement on company aircraft preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations
  • Ability to follow documented policies and procedures
  • Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent) with acceptable abstract

Hours & Compensation

  • Full-time, Seasonal
  • Day rate amounts of $400-$750/day, plus flight pay.
    • (Based on experience, endorsements, and place of residence – contact for more information on rates)
