Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Avionics (Helicopter AME-E)

Job Position Summary

This is a full-time salaried or day rate position. Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance Organization, the AME – Avionics “E” is responsible for the certification of an aircraft after maintenance, inspection, repair or modification. This is a position requiring a high degree of responsibility and skill, which includes:

Responsibilities

  • Inspection, troubleshooting, and repair avionics and electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company maintenance procedures
  • Support pilots and engineers with avionics-related issues
  • Supervising, performing and documenting routine avionics related maintenance.
  • Other Duties as required by the Shop Supervisors and/or the Director of Maintenance Organization

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME-E license
  • Experience with BK117, Bell 212, and AS350 series aircraft is an asset
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations
  • Formal Aviation Training from a TCCA approved training organization (ATO) preferred
  • Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent) with acceptable abstract

Compensation

  • Compensation amounts based on experience and qualifications.
