Who we are
Yellowhead (YHL) has been in business since 1975, growing from 1 helicopter then to over 40 today. A pilot can begin a career with YHL in a Bell 206, learn every aspect of the industry while gaining experience in many different types of aircraft, and go on to retire after a lifetime of achievements.
With further diversification plans and many exciting year-over-year projects, YHL needs you to join our team of enthusiasts.
Whether you would like to put down roots on a base or take on the never-the-same challenges of a rotational pool position, YHL has something for everyone who enjoys well-maintained machines and a cooperative group of cheerful colleagues.
We are an equal-opportunity employer and are committed to the principles of employment equity in all communities where we do business.
YHL is looking for helicopter pilots to service the oil industry, fight fires, move drills, help develop our intermediate twin division, fly with NVG, maybe even get their IFR rating, and a host of other items. We are determined to find new and exciting things to do with our aircraft.
Hot Properties: If you are an Intermediate or Medium heli-ski pilot that is experienced in the following areas: heli-skiing, mineral exploration, seismic, and utility work, we have an immediate need for your skills. Live where you want (as long as it’s accessible!) and travel to fly some of the best machines in the country.
