Yellowhead (YHL) has been in business since 1975, growing from 1 helicopter then, to over 40 today. A pilot can begin a career with YHL, learn every aspect of the industry, gain experience in many different types of aircraft, and go on to retire after a lifetime of achievements.
With further diversification plans and many exciting year-over-year projects, YHL needs you to join our team of enthusiasts.
On August 6, 2001, a 99 lb salmon was caught and released in the Skeena River, 11 km from the YHL base. The hangar is situated on the river and millions of fish swim by each summer, so you might be able to duplicate or surpass this feat, with just a little patience and maybe some skill. Fishing is like flying and you will have ample opportunity to perfect both these skills while residing in a town surrounded by mountains with opportunities to ski in every direction. Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

YHL is looking for a dynamic pilot who can walk the walk and talk the talk. Maybe a pilot who has semi-retired or has lost their medical, could dust off the epaulettes to take on this mission. A youthful dynamism is the most important trait we are seeking. Become market dominant while creating a magical work-life balance.
Outdoor activities easily accessible and just minutes away include mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, ocean fishing, hunting, skiing, camping.
