2027 Calendar Photo Contest

August feels like it’s flying by, which means it’s photo contest time! We’re looking for photos for our 2027 YHL calendar. Photo submissions can be uploaded using the form linked in the QR code in the photo. Or email your photos to Omar.Sraban@yhl.ca Submission Guidelines • Both horizontal (landscape) and vertical (portrait) photos are welcome. • Please ensure picture size be around 4MB or larger to ensure print quality • Lower-quality photos may be submitted for initial consideration; however, if selected for the calendar, a high-resolution/original version will be required. • Please include photographer’s name & a short description of your photo Example: “Airbus AS350B2, C-GNMJ, provides transportation for radio technicians to a communication tower on Mount Shorty Stevens, near Stewart, BC. Photo: RJ Price (November 2020).” Photo Quality Tips: For the best chance of selection… • Use clear, high-quality photos • Avoid blurry or out-of-focus images • Avoid heavily cropped or digitally zoomed images Photographer Recognition: Selected photos will be recognized, and photographers will receive: • $150 for each selected horizontal photo • $100 for each selected vertical photo Please note: payment is only provided for photos used in the 2027 calendar. Third-party submissions: If the photo was taken by someone outside the company, please ensure they give permission for use and provide their email address so we can arrange payment if their photo is selected. Photo Usage Agreement: By submitting a photo, you confirm that: • You are the photographer or have permission from the photographer to submit the image. • You grant Yellowhead Helicopters Ltd. permission to use the photo for company-approved purposes, including calendars, marketing materials, recruitment, training, promotional materials, social media, the company website, and other related purposes, now or in the future. This permission applies even if the photo is not selected for the calendar.
