Dease Lake Helicopter Service

Effective July 2023

YHL is announcing that the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation is now the aviation fuel supplier at the Dease Lake airport. We no longer have an aircraft crew stationed full-time at the airport. If you require a helicopter for projects in the Dease Lake – Iskut – Telegraph Creek area, please call ahead to the base at Stewart, Terrace or Prince George to request a quote and flight arrangements.

(April 2021) We've expanded again!

Yellowhead Helicopters Ltd. & Klee Cho Aviation are pleased to announce that their latest base is set up & busy, busy! We’ve expanded further through the BC northcoast and the Golden Triangle.

Located at the far end of the Dease Lake Airport, YHL is providing helicopter charter services for the beautiful Stikine River region. We’re proud to provide helicopter support for the residents and businesses of Dease Lake, Telegraph Creek, Iskut, Atlin, and points in-between.

YHL started moving crews and aircraft equipment into the airport this past April when the Spring melt washed out the only road into Telegraph Creek (read the Terrace Standard news story). Road construction between the two communities still continues with some major delays and vehicle limits. (Check DriveBC for updates)
