The Edge of the Ice Tour shares the exhilarating thrill of flight from a bird’s eye view where we will pass over local waterfalls, meadows and lush alpine valleys.

This tour will give you a sneak peak of local glaciers with jaw-dropping views of the Portland Canal, Stewart BC and Hyder Alaska

Flight time is approximately 20 minutes and seats for 3 – 5 guests.

We flew with the Stewart branch of Yellowhead Helicopters on Sept 4 with Ian as pilot. He was great, the day was gorgeous and we had a wonderful 30 minute plus tour. This was a highlight for us and our trip. Nothing beats landing on a mountain and being up close to glacier.

We just completed our 40 minute helicopter tour. All I can say is wow – absolutely amazing. The helicopter was comfortable – the pilot was extremely customer friendly. Yes, a tour of this type is expensive but so well worth the money. Can’t say enough good things.
